13 - Mobile App Printer Setup

This article will walk you through setting up your printer with your mobile device. By following these steps you will be able to print labels with Tire Shop Wizard App and iDPRT SP - 320 Printer. The printer can be purchased on Amazon and from other sources. A description of the printer can be found here: https://www.idprt.com/Products/3-Inch-Thermal-Barcode-Printer.html. Other printers may function but have not been tested. You may be able to make them work by following the same steps.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to print labels using the Tire Shop Wizard App

and the iDPRT SP320-xxx printer. Ensure your iOS or Android device has Bluetooth enabled

and your iDPRT printer is powered on before starting.

1. Turn on your mobile device. 

○ iOS:■ Open the Settings app.

■ Tap Bluetooth and toggle it ON.

○ Android:

■ Open the Settings app.

■ Navigate to Connections > Bluetooth, and toggle it ON.

2. Power On the Printer

○ Ensure the iDPRT SP320-xxx printer is charged or plugged in.

3. Printing Labels from Tire Shop Wizard App

For Adding Inventory:

A.  Open the Tire Shop Wizard App on your device.

B. Navigate to the Add Inventory screen.

C. Complete the inventory details as needed.

D. Tap the Print Label button.

E. Tap Print to initiate the printing process.

F.  A list of available printers will appear.

○ Look for and select the printer labeled SP320-xxx.

G. Ensure the printer is powered on and selected.

H. The label will print automatically.

For Updating Inventory:

1. Open the Tire Shop Wizard App on your device.

2. Navigate to the Update Inventory screen.

3. Select the inventory item for which you want to print a label.

4. Click the print label button. Be sure the setup process has been followed as described in steps 1 and 2.
